The Gold Coast Hinterland is easily one of our favourite locations for weddings with its tropical, country, rustic vibe. What is not to love!? We’ve gone ahead and compiled a few of our favourite Gold Coast Hinterland wedding venues, with some pics to prove it!

The Acre Boomerang Farm

If classic rural charm is what you’re looking for for your big day, this location has it all. Set on a wide property amid rolling hills and lush foliage on the outskirts of Mudgeeraba, this venue has it all. The reception venue is a rustic corrugated barn erected in 1902, with a rainforest chapel, trickling creek, gigantic palms, resident wallabies, and many unreal photo opportunities.

We were lucky enough to capture Ash & Jacob at this unreal venue, and boy does it not disappoint! One of the best features by far (Matt definitely thinks so), is the beautifully green golf course that is situated right next to the reception area. You can’t go past the opportunity to get out and play a round of 9 holes before getting hitched in the afternoon.

Shambala Estate (Tamborine Gardens)

Shambala Estate (previously Tamborine Gardens) is a beautiful, inclusive sanctuary set on five acres of lush gardens and tropical rainforest. Shambala Estate is stunningly isolated while yet being conveniently accessible from the Gold Coast, Brisbane, and the Northern Rivers.

This lovely location strikes a delicate balance between each couple’s desire for a magnificent event that wows every visitor and the necessity for ease (everything is wholly accessible, and the ceremony sites are only a short distance from each reception room).

We honestly can’t speak more highly of the staff of this venue, they made the day run so smoothly and accommodated whatever we needed on the day. We had the most epic time there capturing Chantelle & Matt’s unbelievable day. To see more of their gallery, click here.

Austinvilla Estate

This place is EPIC! From an onsite beauty salon to limitless photo opportunities across the Estate, Austinvilla provides the whole experience.

Their gorgeous Pavilion can accommodate up to 130 guests for your ceremony, with plenty of room to mingle with a drink on their top-deck. They hold everyone on the Rainforest Terrace which uncovers a pop-up bar and lawn games for everyone to have a crack while we would whisk you away to get your photos!

We captured Steph & Ricky’s unforgettable day here, still hands down one of our favourite weddings to date. Not only is the venue important, but these two had an epic bridal party who made their whole day one to remember, to the point where we even threw the bride in the air for a photo op (image below)!
